Los Angeles Business Journal Recognizes Ricardo Echeverria as 2026 Leader of Influence
CLAREMONT, Calif. — Shernoff Bidart Echeverria LLP is pleased to announce that Partner Ricardo Echeverria is included in the Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2026 list of Leaders of Influence: Litigators & Trial Attorneys.
The annual list recognizes top litigators and trial attorneys in the Los Angeles area for their legal accomplishments and contributions to the profession. Those selected have made a notable impact through their work and involvement in the legal community.
Mr. Echeverria has practiced law for more than 30 years, focusing on insurance bad faith and catastrophic personal injury cases. During that time, he has built an impressive trial record while representing people and families facing life-changing injuries, wrongful death and disputes with insurance companies.
Among his notable results is a $68 million medical malpractice verdict that was named one of the country’s Top 50 Verdicts by the National Law Journal. He also secured a $42.4 million verdict for a pregnant woman who suffered a severe traumatic brain injury in a head-on collision. His other results include significant verdicts in cases involving amputations, wrongful death, wildfire losses and insurers’ failure to settle claims within policy limits.
Mr. Echeverria has received numerous honors throughout his career. He was named Trial Lawyer of the Year by the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and the Consumer Attorneys of the Inland Empire and has also received Consumer Watchdog’s Lifetime Legal Achievement Award, amongst other remarkable recognitions.
He has also taken an active role in the legal community, including serving as president of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA). Over the years, he has shared his experience with other attorneys through educational programs and professional organizations.
