5/5/16 – Beverly Hills Bar Association Obamacare Event


Samuel Bruchey is chair of the Insurance Committee of the Beverly Hills Bar Association, and on Thursday, May 5 Mr. Bruchey will be co-presenting an event titled “Obamacare’s Impact on Small and Middle Market Businesses, And Planning For What Is Ahead” to be held at the Beverly Hills Bar offices from noon until 1:30. The speaker will be Harry Nelson, Founder and Managing Partner of Nelson Hardiman LLP.

Event Summary

The program will begin with an overview of the current compliance requirements and issues for small and mid-sized California companies and focus on (i) lessons learned to date; (ii) options for employers, including the Covered California insurance exchange; (iii) the debate swirling around the “Cadillac Tax” on high-cost health plans and other parts of the law, (iv) the future of HSAs and employer trends, and (v) strategies for cost-containment, improving and incentivizing workforce health, and opportunities and challenges ahead as transformation continues.
