Minnesota NBC Affiliate Reports on SBE Case
Samuel Bruchey filed a lawsuit in June of this year on behalf of a World War II veteran who had been denied long-term care coverage by CNA.
At the time of the lawsuit, William Crawford was a 92-year-old veteran of World War II whose long-term care coverage was denied by CNA, even though he was blind and had hip-replacement surgery. As a result of the denial, Mr. Crawford had to pay $60,000 out of his own pocket for care and had to be assisted by his close friend, who is a Vietnam War veteran.
KARE 11 in Minnesota conducted an investigation into the actions of CNA and mentioned SBE’s lawsuit against CNA in their story.
