A Tragic Story

A man had purchased life insurance from a global insurance company that is over 100 years old and that boasts more than $100 billion in assets. Following the man’s tragic death in a car accident, the insurance company denied the life insurance claim in spite of the family’s best efforts to produce documentation that the insurance company was responsible. The company claimed that the father’s policy had lapsed, but the firm’s position was that the company acted in bad-faith and was negligent in processing the man’s reinstatement application.
