Marcelis E. Morris is a dedicated advocate for clients facing insurance bad faith or catastrophic injury claims, with a background that includes personal injury, wrongful death, and civil rights litigation at one of the nation’s most well-known plaintiff law firms.
Before joining Shernoff Bidart Echeverria LLP as an associate, Marcelis served as the primary attorney of record and leading attorney in the Personal Injury Department for a well-known firm in Los Angeles. There, he managed and oversaw all aspects of litigating catastrophic personal injury matters. Prior to that, Marcelis’s practice focused on complex personal injury, wrongful death, and premises liability matters in California and Arizona involving clients who had been injured because of exposure to toxic materials. He also has experience with healthcare qui tam claims involving one of the largest manufacturers of pharmaceuticals in the world.
While earning his law degree at Loyola Law School, Marcelis was selected as a member of the nationally-ranked Loyola Law School Byrne Trial Advocacy Team. He also honed his skills in the William C. Hobbs Trial Advocacy Program and as a Certified Law Clerk with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
