Raquel Piloyan

Raquel Piloyan is an Associate Attorney at Shernoff Bidart Echeverria LLP, based in the firm’s Beverly Hills office. Her practice focuses on insurance bad faith litigation and personal injury matters, including claims involving property damage, life insurance, medical necessity denials, and business interruption losses. She is dedicated to advocating for individuals and families harmed by insurer misconduct and unfair claims-handling practices. Ms. Piloyan brings a strong litigation background to Shernoff Bidart Echeverria LLP, with hands-on experience managing cases.

Prior to joining Shernoff Bidart Echeverria LLP, Ms. Piloyan practiced as a plaintiff-side litigator at a prominent Southern California law firm, where she represented clients in a wide range of personal injury and wrongful death cases. Her ability to manage heavy caseloads and guide cases through every stage of litigation has made her an invaluable advocate for her clients.

Ms. Piloyan earned her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School and her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles. Her earlier experience includes clerking at several litigation-focused law firms. While in law school, she served as a Dean’s Fellow and Research Assistant, contributing to academic development initiatives and legal writing on corporate responsibility in global supply chains.

Fluent in Armenian, Ms. Piloyan is proud to serve clients in one of California’s most diverse regions. Outside of her practice, Ms. Piloyan enjoys spending time with her family, baking, and playing tennis.
